On June 8, the opening ceremony of the first "Undergraduate Academic Talent Incubation Plan" of the School of Accounting in 2023 was held in Conference Room 246 of Quan Xue Building. Dean, Professor Hang Liu attended the ceremony and delivered a speech. Vice Dean, Associate Professor Kejing Chen, Vice Dean, Associate Professor Haoran Xu, Director of the Valuation Department, Associate Professor Zhenyang Zhao, Director of the Training Office, Teacher Rui Liu, Teaching Secretary of the Training Office, Teacher Yijun Liu, and 15 freshmen, sophomores, and juniors selected for the plan attended the opening ceremony.
Hang Liu congratulated the 15 undergraduate students of the School of Accounting who had won the project approval and spoke highly of their active participation in the first "Undergraduate Academic Talent Incubation Plan". He pointed out that innovation is the source power of the progress of a nation, and students should enhance their sense of responsibility and focus on cultivating innovation and independent thinking abilities. And it is particularly emphasized that in the process of academic training, it is necessary to strictly abide by academic ethics and norms, adhere to self creation, and resolutely prevent plagiarism. Such persistence will radiate to work and life, and have a positive and profound impact on future life.
Kejing Chen then read out the list of students who were selected into the plan, including Bin Ouyang, Zining Wang, Yueyao Guan, Yurun Gu, Shurui Dong, Xuanjin Fang, Jiaju Su, Luyao Wang, Yiyang Ding, Meiqi Yang, Weichen Zhou, Yingyu Jiang, Jialin Zheng, Kexin Wang and Yundi Li. Haoran Xu issued the project approval certificate and took a group photo one by one.
Zhenyang Zhao, as a representative of the instructors, has put forward four expectations for students: Firstly, adhere to an attitude of seeking knowledge and maintain an optimistic attitude; Secondly, develop reading habits and master empirical software; Thirdly, academic research should "invite in" and "go out", and participate more in academic exchanges and discussions; Fourthly, meet good teachers and friends. Finally, the student representative Yurun Gu shared her experiences and gains with everyone.
After all the attendees took a group photo, the class opening ceremony came to a successful conclusion. But academic exploration has only just begun. We hope that in one year, the students selected for the plan will not only successfully complete the project, but also make a qualitative leap in their personal innovation and research abilities through the efforts of this year.
