On the afternoon of October 9th, in order to improve the level of textbook construction of School of Accounting and accelerate the progress of textbook writing, the School held 2023 Textbook Construction Promotion Meeting in Room 246 of Quan Xue Building. Hang Liu, Dean of School of Accounting, Kejing Chen, Vice Dean of School of Accounting, Li Wang, Project Editor of Dongbei University of Finance and Economics Press, heads of the departments, chief editors of textbooks, and other relevant personnel attended the meeting. Vice President Kejing Chen presided over the meeting.
Hang Liu interpreted the relevant policies on textbooks issued by our country in recent years, introduced the basic situation of the current construction of textbooks of the school, and deployed the next stage of the school’s textbook construction work. He emphasized the importance and urgency of textbook construction, stating that the school will further promote textbook construction and fully utilize the educational function of textbooks.
Li Wang provided professional guidance on the construction of textbooks for the 14th Five-Year Plan. She introduced the current management measures for textbooks in universities, emphasizing the importance of integrating ideological and political education into textbooks. At the same time, she gave several suggestions on textbook construction work: the content should be innovative, and we should adhere to promote the innovated development of textbook construction driven by the scientific and technological progress and discipline development; The form needs to be innovative, which can be interestingly integrated with digital resources to improve the quality and sales of textbooks.
Finally, Kejing Chen summarized the meeting, stating that textbook construction is crucial for the quality of talent cultivation and is of great significance for promoting the high-quality development of the discipline.
