Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China announced the list of 2023 NSFC projects. Associate Professor Yu Wang of School of Accounting was approved for the Youth Science Foundation Project.
The National Natural Science Foundation of China is one of the high-level foundation items set up in China, which has played a great role in promoting the improvement of research level, the construction and development of disciplines, and the cultivation of excellent talents. In recent years, School of Accounting has attached great importance to the work of scientific research projects, and has taken a number of measures to mobilize the enthusiasm of the teachers of the School to apply scientific research projects, and to provide counselling and communication platforms for the teachers applying projects. In the future, School of Accounting will further strengthen the organization and guarantee of the application of fund projects, and make efforts in the aspects of project guidance, application service and follow-up tracking, so as to enhance the awareness of scientific research and innovation among the teachers of the School, and to effectively improve the quantity and quality of the application of high-level scientific research projects.
Teacher Profile
Yu Wang is an associate professor at School of Accounting, Dongbei University of Finance and Economics, and a PhD in Management (Accounting) at Nanjing University. Research interests include capital market intermediation, ESG and supply chain. The results have been published (including online) in Contemporary Accounting Research, Ecological Economics, Business Strategy and the Environment, Economic Modelling, Business Ethics, the Environment and Responsibility, The North American Journal of Economics and Finance, China Journal of Accounting Research, and China Economic Quarterly, Systems Engineering – Theory & Practice, and other domestic and international academic journals.
