On September 6, Liaoning Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Educational Department of Liaoning Province, and Department of Finance of Liaoning Province, jointly issued the Decision on Recognition of Advanced Collectives and Individuals in Liaoning Education System in 2023, and School of Accounting at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics was honored with the title of "Advanced Collective of Liaoning Education System".

The evaluation of advanced collectives and individuals in Liaoning education system in 2023 was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Circular of Liaoning Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security, the Educational Department of Liaoning Province, and Department of Finance of Liaoning Province on the Selection and Recognition of Advanced Collectives and Individuals in Liaoning Education System in 2023, and the results of the selection were arrived at through voluntary application, recommendation of the grass-roots units, examination by the relevant departments and evaluation by the experts. A total of 130 collectives in Liaoning Province were awarded the title of "Advanced Collectives in Liaoning Education System".
