It is another fall recruitment. "Where can I go?" "Where the development prospects are good?" "How to match the favorite company?" For the students who are about to graduate, they are not only full of expectations for the upcoming workplace, but also full of confusion and bewilderment about the future. In this fall, the School specially invited Mr. Mingzhi Dong, former chief accountant of member companies of China General Nuclear Power Group, to answer questions and solve problems for the graduates who are about to set foot in the society, and analyze all kinds of focuses and difficulties during the period of job-hunting face-to-face.
With his full life experience and rich workplace experience, Mr. Dong presented a priceless life guidance class to our graduates.
I. Focusing on the youth, teaching lessons for career and life
Doing a good job in the employment of young college students is not only related to the well-being of thousands of families, but also to the growth and success of young people. Mr. Dong is concerned about the future of the students and grasps the key links in employment, taking the nine-step process of school recruitment as an important starting point to lead the students to make good preparations for entering the workplace.
II. Integrating knowledge and action, unraveling myriad job-hunting puzzles
What should I look for in a resume? What are the common elements in a written test? What should I do when I run into tough questions during an interview? In the face of the job-hunting troubles of the students, Mr. Dong treated each question seriously and carefully, and combined with his work experience for many years, he tried to present the students with the most realistic feedback, eliminating the problems that plagued them during the job-hunting period. During the interaction, students spoke enthusiastically and the atmosphere was lively and warm.
III. Transmitting wisdom through words and deeds, imparting priceless guidance on the path to successful employment
In order to let the students better adapt to the requirements of future positions, as a senior in the workplace, Chief Accountant Mingzhi Dong combined his own personal experience and real cases around him to teach what he had seen and heard. He taught the students the key steps they should take in the early stage of their careers, tailored growth plans for the them, and practiced his belief of being a “evangelist”.
Mr. Dong's job-hunting experience sharing seminar ended with students' reluctance. After the seminar, students responded enthusiastically, pursuing to discuss the gains of the seminar and expressing their gratitude to Mr. Dong and the school.
